Moles are usually pink, tan or brown. They can be flat or raised. They are usually round or oval. Skin tags sticks out of the skin and may have a short, narrow stalk connecting it to the surface of the skin. It is usually small, but may be a half-inch long. The tag is usually the same color as skin, or a little darker. They are usually painless and do not grow or change. However, they may be irritated from rubbing by clothing or other materials. They may occur on the: neck, underarms, middle of the body, or under folds of skin, eyelids, or other body areas.
